Assess and select product
We evaluate the existing substrate, confirm the target depth with your tile contractor, and select Ultraplan or Novoplan based on the application and structural requirements.
Prep and prime
The concrete surface is diamond-ground to Mapei profile, cleaned of dust and contaminants, and the matched Mapei primer is rolled on for permanent adhesion.
Mix and gauge
Mapei SLU is mixed to exact water ratio, poured across the floor, and gauge-raked to level. The self-leveling action takes over; we work quickly within the pot life.
Cure and handoff
The slab cures per Mapei schedule, final flatness is verified against tile-install tolerance, and the substrate is ready for your tile contractor to begin.
