Durable Concrete Floors in Portland for Every Room
A finished concrete floor lasts decades with minimal upkeep and no allergens. We build them polished, epoxy-coated, stained or with a micro-topping overlay, whether you are starting fresh or resurfacing an existing slab. Every project begins with a free written estimate and a site assessment.

The foundation matters
Why Concrete Floor Prep Determines the Finish
A polished, epoxy, stained or micro-topping finish is only as good as the slab beneath it. Uneven surfaces, low spots and cracks show through every finish, so we address the base first.
When a slab is out of tolerance, self-leveling underlayment brings it into spec before any finish is applied. If radiant heating is part of the plan, heated floor underlayment encases the tubing in the same operation.
Once the slab is flat and sound, we can deliver a high-gloss polished concrete finish, a seamless epoxy floor coating, rich colour with stained concrete, or a thin micro-topping overlay that refreshes tired concrete without demolition.
The sequence
How Portland Concrete Floors Get Built
-
Evaluate the slab
We inspect the existing concrete for moisture, damage, flatness and any old coatings, then recommend the finish that fits the room and the slab condition.
-
Prepare the surface
We grind or shot-blast to remove old finishes and contaminants, repair cracks or spalling, and pour self-leveling underlayment where the slab is uneven.
-
Install the finish
We apply the chosen finish, polished, epoxy, stain or micro-topping, following the manufacturer system from primer through topcoat.
-
Cure and handoff
The finish cures per spec, we walk the floor with you, and you receive care instructions to keep the concrete looking new for years.
Match the room
Concrete Floor Finishes Tailored to Your Space
The room's use and light determine the best finish. A polished concrete floor works well in open-concept living areas and basements, delivering brightness and easy cleaning, while an epoxy floor coating suits utility rooms and workshops with its seamless, chemical-resistant surface.
For warmth and visual depth, stained concrete brings acid or water-based colour into kitchens and sunrooms, and a micro-topping overlay creates a fresh, seamless surface over sound but worn concrete without the cost of a tear-out.

Concrete Floor Questions, Answered
Finishes, prep, cost and what concrete floors are like to live with in Portland.
Polished the whole main floor after a reno. It is bright, dead easy to clean, and the self-leveler they poured first means there is not a single high spot.
Epoxy floor in the basement utility room. Seamless, wipes clean, and they built it up in proper coats instead of one quick layer.
Stained the kitchen floor a warm brown. The colour has depth you do not get from tile, and there are no grout lines to scrub.
Micro-topping over an old cracked slab in the sunroom. New seamless surface for a fraction of a tear-out, and you cannot tell what was underneath.
